Subject: Eldar Falcon Type II help

I am building a falcon using Forge World's Type II kit. I'm trying to assemble the turret. I have a big gap about 1/8 inch in the front if the back is closed up or in the back if the front is closed up. Is that normal? Seems the FW part is almost flat across, whereas the kit has an angle to it.

Here's a photo of the gap in the front.
I am tempted to try to file it down to try to make it fit better, unless I'm missing something.

Yes, I follow what you are saying. Yes I know the photo is a bit blurry.That's where the problem lies. Even the stock turret has a bend in it. However, the FW one is straight (or close to it).

The item is both. The bottom is the kit plastic, then the top part is FW resin.

Soak the resin part in warm water for about a minute, then carefully! bend it so it'll fit.
