What is a better army list slash tatic

-nob bikers

-kill kan wall

So im starting an ork army trying to decide what you get

Either going to pick up 9 kans and boys for a killa kan wall

or a Nob biker 6 strong with warboss on bike and lootas also gretchin etc.

It would seem there complete opposite builds one being very fast and spendy and the other slow and surivalble.

Which is a better all around tatic it would seem that the killa kan army would take alot longer to play since you gotta move a crap ton of guys.

kan wall is a better options for a few reasons
nob bikers cost alot 500+pts
sure they can put the hurt in CC but S8 will kill them outright and with all the missiles people have now and days its easy to lose a nob with only a 4+ to not get instadead on a 50+ point model

for the same 500 points with a kan wall
you can take 9 kans and a dread

with either list you are going to need to support the focus
with nobs with some bikers or trukk squads
or with kans a KFF mek and boyz

Yeah i was thinking killa kan wall but i made a sweet lookign warboss on a bike outta a deffkopta lol ><. And i dont think there is possibly any Hybrid list i could make including some nob bikers with killa kans just seems to be to opposite.

No you could if you wanted to take some nobs with your kan wall take 1 mek with 6-9 kans 0-1 dreads 1-2 boyz mob for your kan wall this is about 1000pts add in 300-500pts of bikers and a boss should be a around 1500pts then you could add in lootas or whatever something to support the nobs like a trukk squad or two depending on how you wanna do it . Draw back to doing this is you will be hitting in waves allowing him to deal with you piecemeal as opposed to all at once.

What if for the nob biker list i had a list like

Warboss on bike, Nobz on bike all tricked out, then 3 units of trukks 12 boysNobz with pk, 1 battle wagon with 19 shootas Big mek in the battle wagon 4+ cover save, Then some lootas in the Back approx 8, 2 deffkoptas tl rokkits.

That seems like a very fast Hard hitting army could be competitive right?

In a recent 2000 pt RTT, I took both 6 Kanz and 10 Nob Bikerz winning all three games.
In the meanwhile, I'm inclined to take 9 Kanz and a smaller Nob Biker mob.

I voted kanz.

Killa kanz give you some ranged anti-tank (I HIGHLY recommend the rokkit kit) as well as some close in support for things your boyz might have trouble with (a mob of 3 kanz make furioso dreadnoughts run and hide). What's more, they're cheap enough (we got the Phil Kelly discount on them) that fielding other support units (like lootaz or a smallish unit of nobz in a wagon) becomes possible even in a list where you're gonna have 90+ boyz.

Nob bikers, while nasty, are only one unit. There was a time when they were considered the best unit in the game, but these days there is just too much stuff that can wipe them out.

Both are fun though. See if your friends will let you proxy.

At the 1500 pt level, I'd go for a Kan wall without Nob Bikers.
As the Kanz are lumbering, I'd take a Warboss on bike.
He can operate on his own if necessary.
You could attach him to a squadron of Deffkoptas.

I don't find Nob Bikers to be worth it. They can do some amazing damage, but can be popped with ease. After playing a few games, I don't find units of Nobz to be good. I'd rather have a bunch of bodies I can throw at the enemy and hope they get the job done. So to answer your question, take 9 Killa Kans.

I rarely go without any kind of nobz at all. Nobz tear up anything that boyz can't handle and boyz overrun anything that troubles nobz. Simple but efficient synergy, all you have to do is get them in the right places.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.

Speaking as a CSM player, I fear kan wall FAr more than biker nobs. I can throw demolisher round, defiler cannon, even an Abaddon charge or plasma cannon barrage at biker nobs and wear them down.

Properl player Kan wall, on the other hand...I have almost no options. Most of my lascannons and other fire will be wasted on the kans. Cover save will cancel half, and the unit immunity to stun will cancel a good bit of the damage table.

In Boxing matches, you actually get paid to take a dive and make the other guy look good.

In Warhammer 40K, you're expected to pay cash out of your pocket for the privilege of having Marines and IG trample all over your Xenos/Chaos.

Nob bikers face too many hard counters nowadays. If you were in the business of making lists to win tournaments, I'd sooner bet on the Kan Wall.

So im trying to decide what the last 200 points of the list will be possibly 150 points of lootas and some gretchin. I'm not gonna go with deffdreads because seems would to much of a pain to them in the kff range.

Not as difficult as you imagine, and pure CC Dredds are actually really, really tough to keep down, or at the least are huge fire magnets, so are somewhat effective even out of KFF range. With the Big Mek(s) you don't even need to take up a FoC for them. Just don't worry about spending some points on them. I generally run two at 120 points each, with the works, but you could only take one, or drop the Grots on them each, find the points elsewhere.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.
