I just want to make sure. In the platoon codex entry it is written that the composition for a platoon is 1 command squad, 2-5 infantry squads, 0-5 heavy weapons squads, 0-2 special weapons squads and 0-1 conscript squad. Does this mean that I could have a platoon with all of those? A platoon with a command, 5 infantry squads, 5 heavy weapons squads, 2 special weapons squads and a conscript squad? I remember a limit of 5 squads per platoon but I think I either remember wrong or it was in some older edition of the codex.

It gets really fun in Apoc when there is no maximum for infantry squads and you field a 300 man blob. NOTHING is getting through that in 7 turns, especially if they are stupid enough to assault it!
