Any that don't make it super dirty but give a good shading?

Devlan mud and Badab black shade it well

Maybe the Badab Black, but I can't imagine Devlan Mud shading Bestial Brown very well. BB is such a dark shade to begin with. I'd like to see it. I'm curious how it looks.

devlan mud I'd say, though best to maybe experiment on spare bits you have to see what you like

You might have to do a few coats of Devlan Mud, but it should work. Colored shadows rule

I always wash mine with DM and it turns out very well, just thinking if I have any pictures

EDIT: There we are, not the best painting. Was a rushed job, trying to get 90 troops painted in 3 weeks isn't that nice, so they aren't a great standard.

EDIT 2: Image fail >.<

Thanks for the shot. I actually tried both washes on my fire warrior test mini. Badab black makes it look a tad more grainy and dark. Not super grainy but not as solid as i'd like the brown to be

I personally like the devlan mud wash better. It gives the brown more of a rich colour and blends perfectly with the bestial brown.
