yea all new releases stretch from 100-120 dollars, personally i go and buy stuff from overseas or steam (cheaper).

It´s the same over here, so I buy most of my games over Xbox Live

Well yeh, unless you want to get the limited preorders, then it can be anywhere up to $160 in some cases.

Last I checked Australia has a higher amount of people over the obesity line than the US. People here don't need to run from deadly, venomous critters as much as they used to.

Yeah, it's a 15 over there, they're lucky it was valve who made it (a good developer), a lot of developers or publishers might not have bothered with this or at least spent a few extra weeks on it. Austrailia bans a ridiculous amount of games.

Yeah, Mortal Kombat 9 was banned in AUS with something like an $1100 thousand dollar fine for trying to get it in (second hand knowledge), L4D2 got banned then was turned into Left For Carebear when they rereleased it with no gore or blood at all, the zombies would simply disappear on death.

No doubt gears or space marine will be banned too. We have terribad internet,Our stuff is expensive as hell. I just hate Australia

I mean, Lets say to have a nice meal out in a good restaurant here is $30 bucks, drinks included. Grey Knight Terminators are $75 dollars. Is the ratio that bad in other countries?


We were refused an R18+ rating on games for NO reason, which has a detrimental effect on both the younger and older audiences, the earlier being exposed to games that maybe shouldnt be rated so low, the latter being unable to play games that suite their age because they are being banned.

That's a pretty nice restaurant ya. GKs are probably about $60 though.

On the plus side, you guys have the Mana Bar.
