Hi all,

I've just finished magnetizing my newly bought Talos/Cronos Engine and I thought I would share with you all.

For those who don't know the Talos/Cronos is one boxed set - meaning you would normally have to choose which to built, but this way you can have both options as well

as all the weapon options.

The only problem I had was that the TL Liquifier Gun uses the same bitz as the Ichor Injector. I haven't found a good solution yet, so no TL Liquifier Gun for this dude.

BTW the paint job is far from done

So here we go:

Torso front

Torso back

Torso bottom

Weapon options

Talos with CCW, Ichor Injector and TL Heat Lance

Talos with CCW, Chain-flails and TL Splinter Cannon

Cronos with Spirit Probe and Vortex

Hope you enjoyed and maybe even got some inspiration.

Wow! I think I am just going to commit to a single weapon loadout... but this is very inspiring. Did you use a dremel to make a hole for the magnets?

Doesn't look like it. You can just buy a drill bit the size of the magnet and do it by hand. Easier and safer on your model.

I wasn't going to magnatize this but seeing it done is making me reconsider.

I was wondering if magnetizing the whole thing would be possible. Thanks for providing the answer!

It looks very cool - please post pics once paint is finished

Hmm, in that case can you describe how you did it / if there was a lot of material that needed to be removed, etc?

Cool, I was planning to do this too, but haven't picked up the kit yet. Those look like pretty good sized magnets. What size did you use?

Thanks for all the replies.

The magnets I use are about 0.12 inches.

I didn't use a Dremel. The already has a lot of recesses where to place magnets

Almost every bit has a sort of connector which I simply cut off. I tried to show it here.

The connectors fit into recesses as shown here (bad image sorry)

Hope it helps. I'll make sure to upload pictures of the finished model.
