This thred was intended to be specificaly daemons but might still aplies for other armies.
When a daemon unit comes in with in 6" of an icon do they still have to take dangerous terain, im thinking yes, but not sure.

Only if you land in Difficult/Dangerous terrain, all the icon does is prevent you from scattering.

The icon only prevents scatter - it doesnt have any other effect for a DS unit
