I'm going to work the army around Xerxis so of course the standard Cataphract units both shield wall and spear thrower, thinking of throwing in some Nihilators for that hammering blow. For warbeasts I was thinking Savage and Brute Cyclopi, maybe 1 of savage and 2 of brute and one of the titan variants, not sure.

Building Horde lists are alot trickier than 40k lists as it's more combo based and such instead of 'which unit is best, ok spam spam spam' so any help would be much appreciated.

I disagree with the 40k statement. It is true of some armies, but not of all.

In that respect, yeah, WM/H are vastly different in that you hardly ever take multiples of anything, even warjacks/warbeasts.

Also, there is a difference in that a 35 point list is a full army for WM/H, whereas it is a single crisis suit for Warhammer 40k

Yeah, the problem isn't so much 40k as it is GW.
