So pretty much as the title suggests, the other day I had a game vs my friends GK he got first turn so I reserved my entire army (DE on a 4x4 board do not like getting shot first), it gets to his second turn (so still no units of mine on the board) and he rolled reserves and his callidus was due to come in, but how does this work with no one to 'enter' through. We ended up leaving her in reserve which would have rankled me, but I tabled him by turn 4.

The game breaks. :(

I'm pretty sure there is no resolution to this, so we gotta wait for FAQ.

I would suggest she Mishaps, but that might be too cruel Mwhahahaha.

Church: So it is a sword, It just happens to function like a key in very specific situations.
Caboose: Or it's a key all the time, and when you stick it in people, it unlocks their death.

Assuming you're talking about the Codex: Grey Knights version, (since it's not a problem for the Witch Hunters Callidus) I would say it would fall under the 'unable to move onto the board' category... in which case, as per the rulebook FAQ, she would be destroyed.

Agree with insaniak. This is similar to Summoned Daemons from CSM (although they specifically say they are destroyed if they can't arrive legally).

Yeah, she wouldnt be able to move onto the board and per the BRB FAQ is destroyed.

Which is ironic, since she'd just get destroyed on your turn anyway, since she can't assault when she arrives and only has 4++ save.

Or a 3+ (often overlooked) cover save.

From without, the Imperium is assailed by alien monsters from the depths of space, nightmare death-machines and soulless daemons (as well as soulless death-machines and nightmare daemons, and the occasional soulless daemon in a nightmare death machine).

Its really the 2 wounds and the loss of the ability to enter combat on the turn she arrives. Pretty much means she's either dead the turn she enters play or she spends it going to ground.

She doesnt need to go to ground, just uses stealth to be surprisingly difficult to remove
