Subject: The Landings at Orkandy: Swaaarghrd Beach
We recently refought the June 1944 Normandy D-Day landings using 40k Orks (standing in as the British), Imperial Guard (as the German 716th Infantry Division), and Space Marines (as reinforcements from the 21st Panzer Division). The battlefield (c6x8, plus a secondary 3x4 table) was modelled on Sword Beach, the nearby towns/villages, Pegasus Bridge, and the famous gun battery at Merville ("Squigville").
It was a beautiful game. Unfortunately the two sides were seriously unbalanced, and the Orks never had any real chance. Being Orks, however, we just bashed as much as we could

That seemed so fuuun !
And I love this "official order letter" with orkish grammary. Sounds so right
As always special scenarii can be sadly unbalanced, but for the sake of the story, all the participants must bite the bullet and do their best. In the end, it's worth it ! Your BR is the best example.
