Quick question, I was reading over Shrike's rules in the codex and his chapter tactics which allows for fleeting and I was wondering if that aplied to drop pods or rhinos. Example, my sqaud disembarks from a drop pod and runs in its shooting phase. Is that sqaud allowed to assault because of fleet, or not allowed because it can't assault out of a drop pod? A simple yes or no is fine.

Units arriving via deep strike may not assault (regardless of whether or not they have fleet).
Units arriving in drop pods may NOT assault anyway (codex rules) also regardless of whether or not they have fleet.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Fleet over-rides the prohibition on assaulting after running. It has no effect on anything else that might prevent you from assaulting.
