You mean beastmen? I can't help too much, but the books have changed a LOT from the 6th to 7th/8th edition army book. They used to be men who were twisted by chaos into animals (or vice versus) and they were chosen of various gods-you could choose how they were marked. Now, they are no longer marked and have changed a little bit. THey are also very closely tied into the Greek mythologicals.

Well first, they are by far the goriest race in the game. I mean ever single page is about mutilation and rubbing dung on sacred idols and whatnot. They aren't just beasts, they're malignant ones.

Orcs are silly mean. Ogres are foody mean but can get along. DE are crafty mean. Beastmen are pure balls-out kill everything, rape everything before and after you kill it, then eat it.

They are the real children of Chaos. The Northerners worship the dark gods because they get gifts. For beastmen, it's a lifestyle. Even if the cool kids in their cool armor weren't doing it, they'd still be setting fire to orphanages.
