Just a few quick questions.

From my research, it appears that the LotD are not accepted in most tournies unless the TO has given consent.

Why is this? Is it just because it is out of date, or is it broken in some way? Etc...


Furthermore, what codex would be reasonable to represent it?

My first idea was Codex: IG, but then I ran into the problem of using any sort of CSM things.

Mutants would most likely be blob squads, vets on foot, or in chimeras/vendettas would be the legitimate guardsmen.

Finally one last question! For all you Fluff knowers out there, would the LotD have access too Vendettas?

LatD are a motley collection of cultists and mutants. They are the last scrapings of the barrel when it comes to troops.

Try downloading the IA lists from FW. There is a thread in background with the links in, it is on the first page so it should be easy to find.

Nope, they will be fine with it, we tend to not run "ideal" lists against eachother, so no harm done!

There's actually 3 Imperial Armour lists that can be put down as 'Lost and the Damned' and a 4th which can double as renegade guard.

There's a 'generic' Cultist list in IA5, a Khorne specific one in 6, and a Nurgle specific one in 7. IA 9 has the 'renegade guard with some space marines recently fallen' list, called "Tyrant's Legion".

I'll have to check some of those out, I believe I can get some of those IA's.
