So im still quite new to tank shocking with my skimmers, my question is when tank shocking a unit of 15+ models if they fail their leadership or pass and fail Death or glory does every model move 1 inch away or has to be place 1 inch away from the tank ? Can you kill a whole squad by tank shocking ?

The squad has to move to minimum safe distance from the said vehicle. So yes 1" away. if any of the models can not be placed out of the path of the vehicle and still stay in unit coherency then yes those models are lost. It's also a very valid strategy against horde armies to park a rhino on both sides of them and then run one right through the center. It's pretty tough to kill a whole squad with this since they can usually get some models out of the way, but it will inflict heavy casulties on them anyways.

They pass the test and/or fail DOG then they only move if the tank would end its move on top of them (and you move the the shortest distance which can be quite a long way if you've try to trap them). Otherwise they stay put. If they fail, they immediately fall back ... If you catch up with them then they haven't rallied so will automatically fall back again.

Even if they are fearless / pass the test they still have to clear a path for the tank even if it moves completely through the unit actually. If you park in the center they just scoot to the side of it, but if the tank goes straight through they have to completely get out of it's entire path and stay in coherency.

Read the 6 paragraph. "If the test is passed the unit will simply let the tank move through as if it not there" No mention of moving them so you don't ... otherwise how could you manage to end your move on top of a model? Notice that the Orks don't move.

Hmmm, apparently we've been playing some house rules at the gameshop then. Tri is correct you have to land on them for them to be forced to move. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also as a side note bastards cheesed me on death or glory rules also. Auto hits would have been nice to know when my seraphim with her IP was staring a Land raider down.
