Here's one of my latest creations, a Heavy Gear inspired Tau Battlesuit. I started with a normal suit, then resculpted the arms in 4 pieces each, which I then cast in resin so that I could make multiples. So now I have a nice conversion kit to make a bunch of these big fellas.

Very good! Love the pose that gives him. Much cooler than just arm-mounted.

I like it a lot. Would appreciate it if you put the pics on Dakka. The blog you linked isn't so great when viewed via iphone. Well done from what I can see.

Nice.

Beats the umpteen gundam inspired battlesuits hands down.

(I'm an Armor Trooper Votoms fan rather than a Gundam fan and ATV mecha are closer to the HG gears.)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Nice execution there minionboy!

I did a similar thing with my crisis suit, but intead of 4 pieces, I used three. I also greenstuffed some hands so that they can 'grip' the handles of their guns

(sorry for the bad pics, took them quickly)

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.
