I found this on the interwebs .I think it fits better with the army's theme than the dreadknight

Perhaps. Personally, I think the best thing that fits the fluff as far as the dreadknight is concerned is ripping that page out of the book.
But anyway, I've seen some conversions that achieved the same general idea by just enclosing in the area the terminator sits and removing the silly hands and instead making the arms with actual weapons on the end.
Was never a fan of the whole gundam thing where these massive warmachines would risk tiny, highly sophisticated digits to grasp on to something. I much prefer to battletech idea where the weapons are built right in and can disengaged at base.

I really don't like the model, it's too non-Imperium style. Easier to just modify a Dreadnought than buy this as I'm not a fan of it either, it just looks too grand and individual.

This would be only the 100th or so thread about having to use an alternate model for the Dreadknight, as well as complaining about the codex itself. Just look around, they're not hard to find.
Plus I find it funny that they supplied a model for a new unit and everyone complains. When the Stormraven came out, everyone complained, not really about it being over-powered, but about having to make their own. Only after the model came out did people start complaining again about it being over-powered, and unattractive...

Take a look at the Dreamforge Games Leviathan Crusader...the current ones are 28mm scale and about 8-9 inches tall. However, the 15mm scale versions are at the caster for quote right now, they are about 5.5 inches tall, which will make them great for dreadknights.

There have been half a dozen threads discovering and discussing your find, as could be expected with a model that was made to be an alternative Dreadknight.
