Hello Dakka.
I believe it is now time to share my own attempts at scratchbuilding models.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, here is my first scratchbuilt model (ever):

This model will count as a chimera in my Traitor Guard army, I am still working on it (obviously) and comments towards what to add would be great.
I named it the Keveran Personal Transport MKI, revised version will be built (and possibly made for sale), there will be as many MKs as I feel I need to make until I am happy with the design.
The pictures really aren't the best, I'll be taking better ones of the finished product when it is sunny.

Coming up on this blog will be painted pictures of this model and many more scratchbuilds, a count as Valdor and Gorgon to name a few.

The profile of the tank makes it look heavily influenced by the British Whippet tank. A pair of trench rails on the back end might be in order.

I think you should either cover the tops of the tracks by putting a strip of plasticard between the track gear protection and the main hull. Orrrr round the gear protecter plate

Very very very very very good job for your first scratch build.

Thank you for noticing.
The tank is influenced by the Whippet but I wanted to add some of the surrealism of the 40k universe and also give it a thrown together look to fit my traitors.
Trench rails would indeed look good but as it is a chimera count as the back is a door

Thanks a lot.
I will be a adding a strip of plasticard on top of the tracks on other revisions of the tank.

dubya dubya one meant World War One I think. I really love the look of the tank and I'm hoping that you make more!

While you wait for more scratchbuilts here are two models I painted a couple of months back for my traitor guard.
Heavy pictures!
Spoiler:

The Keveran Transport has hit the painting table so I will be updating this again soon!

EDIT: seems like the pictures in spoiler aren't showing in 5184x3456, I'm a bit disapointed

Little update,
Since I spent most of my summer away I couldn't spend time on my hobby but here is a minor update.

This is the current state of the Keveran Transport.
It is currently waiting on a paintjob.

And here is a little baby I got for my birthday from my loved one.
Since I cannot make anything as it is supposed to be out of the box it got converted a bit.
This is a kit by Blightwheel Miniatures
I'll be using it as my command chimera.

More updates should come soon, please keep it up with the comments.

And once again I'm updating at some weird hour so no one will notice

SO, long overdue update.
I'm too lazy to make a light box and it's dark outside right now so you get a couple of pictures from my chaotic workbench until the sun comes back.

Spoiler:

Have fun playing I spy in all this chaos.
