Greetings to everyone and anyone. I have been looking in and out of here for a bit while trying to find information regarding a lot of things. Mostly just looking at threads concerning of glue and paint. Forget who exactly wrote them but they were very helpful indeed. Now all my figures have stopped falling apart and I have a new set of paint coming in the mail so I'm all kinds of excited.
Now onto the introduction part of the thread:
My name is HeWhoHasNotBeenNamed and I come from the San Fransisco bay area. The name I have chosen is fairly descriptive of my problems coming up with a username to use so I just went with it. Well, anyways...
I have been mainly just assembling and painting figures on and off for probably half a decade now. Never played anything though. But recently I've been getting into playing a game called Monsterpocalypse with friends and family which invariably lead me to pick up it's older, more experienced (and not to mention more popular) brother, Warmachine. I was split between Cygnar and Khador and so I went with Khador, getting a battlegroup box set to start things off. Will most likely pick up the Cygnar set after I am done cleaning, putting together and painting the ones I already have now. I'm starting to find the plastic kit to be a far lengthy procedure over metals but I wanted a long-term project to begin with so it's all for the better. Can't wait to get everything done now so I can start playing and sharing pictures/stories.
