Battle Bunker Games was formally Gamer's Guild and has since renovated and expanded their store.

I will be running this tournament and it will be very straightforward with a w/l/d format:

Book missions:

Game 1: Dawn of War, Annihilation
Game 2: Pitched Battle, Capture and Control
Game 3: Spearhead, Seize Ground
Game 4: Randomly determined

Painting will be a separate category from playing, meaning that you can still win the tournament with an unfinished army, or you can win a painting award without winning any games.

We will use the bracket point system of tie breakers if there are more than 16 players in attendance, which can be found here: http://bloodofkittens.com/bayareaopen/missions/

Armies do not have to be painted.

No comp.

Sportsmanship will be handled on a case by case basis as issues arise at my discretion. With small tournaments, sportsmanship is rarely a problem. If however, I receive multiple complaints from about a single participant, he or she will be asked to leave.

$15 entry fee, all of which goes to prize support. There is going to be a significant prize package, with lots to go around for everyone!

If you call the store and preregister and pay for your spot, you will get a discount on anything you buy in the store the day of the tournament!

Why 1500 points out of curiosity? Just the time factor?

I have found that more people will show at 1500 as it requires fewer model's. Also it means we can very easily have 4 rounds so we get more people playing each other. After I get a feel for who will be coming, we can easily raise the points.

I like 1500 too, myself. The game plays a lot differently at that level and I think its great for a change of pace from larger games.

We'll start at 10:30, and have 90 minute rounds (easy to do at 1500) with a half our lunch. We will wrap up at 6, 6:30 at the latest.
