Is a BSB that chooses to flee as a charge reaction subject to the heroic sacrifice rule? I'm under the impression that since he is not actually fleeing from a combat that he doesn't commit suicide as a result.
Tzeentchling has it. BSBs won't die automatically unless they break from combat. Failing panic tests won't do it. Just be sure to rally them first if other fleeing units are nearby, since a fleeing bsb doesn't give his re-roll
