Yes, the most boring thing to ask for is color advice for necrons. Body is basic Boltgun with black gauss weapons (green rods and painted green heat sinks). I'm thinking about yellowish eyes with the Destroyers having blue eyes on the left side (the three-eyed half). The problem is what to do with the rest. I'm thinking about black shoulderpads but would prefer something a little different. I have tin bits, brazen brass, and burnished gold, as well as chainmail and mithril. I don't want monotone silver but don't want them looking like dobermans either. I'm thinking the gold will be saved for the Destroyer Lord as an accent color. The only thing I won't do is actual color. In my interpretation, the necrons are so old that pretty much nothing's left other than the bare metal.

Any ideas or links to pics (gallery or another site) would be great. Don't post pics though because this isn't a showcase topic.

I know you already have a set scheme in mind with your boltgun. And yes since they are old it would be kinda odd if they re animated a color different from just bare metal. But I got an idea. I have never seen a desert Necron army. Like if a bunch of necrons awakened under the mahabi then what would they look like? Some metal with a tanish air brush or wash and sand bases could look kinda cool. Idk maybe I am slowed and its late. But thoat could still allow you to use the gold. Take a Egyptian flair. Thoughts?
