Hi guys, I was talking about this with a friend recently. I always thought the song was just about an unstoppable soldier, but my friend pointed out there's a line that seems to be referring to gene seeds. The lyrics are below. The line I'm referring to is all in capitals.

The song is about a soldier who is trying to survive a mission and "Win the honor" of coming back home again and having to do unfortunate things and a primal part of him enjoying it. At least, that's my take of it.

the part of them that is human might feel some resentment at his fate, but that part is no more then a bystander in his mind. the beast has control.

While I don't think the song specifically refers to Space Marines, it is phenomenally appropriate to a Space Marine music list.

Disturbed don't really do "dirty" vocals often, you can tell what he's singing quite clearly. I find they're a metal band that people who don't like metal can get into pretty easily

There is a nother Distubed song....can't think of it now but it on the "Sickness" album. Some of the lyrics seem to be describing someone being possessed by a demon.

Pretty sure that song is called, "Down with the Sickness." Contains appropriately disturbing - giggle - lyrics toward the end, as well as lots of profanity throughout.

Hm, speaking of Disturbed... Where DID my copy of, "The Sickness," run off to?

The line you highlighted probably refers to the tattoos most soldiers get.

I think it's just generic as hell, like all music by Disturbed. Ugh.
