I have just recently started a small blog online and have seen other members advertising their own in their signature.

so before I go ahead and do the same I was just making sure that this was okay http://uniteallaction.blogspot.com/ to see it for yourself

is it okay to put this in my signature

As long as the banner isn't giant (which it isn't) or obnoxiously flashing or something (which it isn't) then it's all good!

I'd also like some clarification on this, if you don't mind. As long as we operate within the guidelines set out in the previous post (i.e. not massive/ridiculous), are we 'allowed' to advertise other, smaller forums? Only, I know some forums have a policy on that kind of thing, and I thought I'd better check.

So long as it isn't DakkaSucks.blogspot.FU, you're probably fine.

Absolutely.

We try to run Dakka with as few little niggling rules as possible except for that we want everyone to be nice to each other (a dangerous concept, I know).

We are fine with people advertising their endeavors using their Dakka profile, as we want Dakka to be a great central hub for miniature gaming.

So yes, go forth and promote (as long as it isn't obnoxious)!
