As I don't think I'll be buying from GW for awhile, does anyone know of any companies that sell Space Marine like mini's? I play space wolves and my wife BA if it matters.

None. If GW caught anyone else selling Space Marines they would sue them under the table.

I heard a rumour that Pixar almost got sued because Buzz Lightyears legs were too similar to SM legs... Not sure if that is true so go figure...

That is almost certainly untrue, especially considering there's no way in hell pre-lotr gw could ever hope to win a legal battle against post-toy story pixar. Why not just buy from chaosorc or other independent online retailers? All the major ones give a 20% discount on everything and it's so much more convenient for army-building than trawling ebay.

And I thought GW was expensive, that stuff's ridiculous.

Pure hearsay and speculation by people from forums like this.
There's no shortage of power armored infantry models out there. I think Void has some, and if you can still find Kryomek models, they had lots of power armored dudes. Warzone had some power armored soldiers, and there's leftover stock from that everywhere. Wargames Factory's Liberty and Union League (Which may or may not be dead by now) has "power armored infantry" at 100% pre-ordered, which means they should be working on it soon. The Starship Troopers game from Mongoose Publishing had some really cool " MI Cap troopers" who were the guys in power armor as detailed by the Roughnecks TV show and the book. Finally, Mantic is supposed to have a sci-fi game this October, and I doubt they'd let it go without power armored Marine-types.
Personally, I just scour eBay. You'll find Marine models there for dirt cheap, especially if you're fine with doing a little paint removal.

There's no way GW could sue over space marines, or power armoured infantry. The term 'space marine' has been around a lot longer than GW and 40k. But thanks for the links guys. I'll be mainly buying from ebay and such, but other options are always nice. One of the reasons I want non- gw is so that I can scan the reciept and mail it to gw going "this _was_ going to go to you, but your actions have forced me to choose otherwise'. It'll do diddly, but it might make me feel a little better

Have you tried these?:

Very cheap (especially compared to GW) and a lot of them look quite interesting (in a generic scifi way..!)
hope that helps

That's kind of childish, honestly.
I again highly recommend http://chaosorc.com/, he sells at 20% off (of US prices, so a huge discount for Australians), and usually ships within 24 hours of your order. Australians often get stuff from him in a week and a half. It's a great price, great selection of gw and other ranges, you can get paint, terrain, etc. all in one order, and none of the hassle of ebay (or stripping poorly painted models, fixing things assembled like crap, etc.) Also, none of his profits go to gw if that is a concern.

Actually I'm doing it to show them that their current practices are causing people to shop elsewhere. I was joking about the 'making me feel better'. I'm a firm believer in showing a company that it's actions have consequences. Even if just a few of us do stuff like this it can show them how much they're losing.
But thanks for the links.
