Hi all,

Just a small issue I was discussing today.

I have, until recently, believed that my Wolf Guard in TDA armed with a CML and Combi-melta could fire both in the shooting phase.

However, a local Red Shirt said that I could not.

This had me confused and I would like a confirmation.

I know that I cannot fire both the SBolter and Melta in the same turn, but never knew this limited the CML i the same way if the melta (single shot per game) fired.

You can fire 1 weapon per turn, if you are Infantry.

The CML adds an *exception* to this rule, BUT you can only fire a SB and trhe CML - not "any" weapon and the CML.

So no, you may not fire the melta-part of the combi weapon, nor can you fire the bolter part, as it is not a Storm Bolter

Do you have a source so that I may have a reference point?

Page 30 of the Space Wolves Codex, under the CML rules, specifies that the CML may be fired "in addition to his Storm Bolter" and does not mention other sorts of guns - thus the normal restriction to a single gun is waived only for the combination of CML and Storm Bolter.

Thanks mate!

The trouble modifying my CML TDA WG back to a SBolter is now justified.
