Hello, I am a new skaven player and I need advice on my army list. I designed my army to use a hold and smash tactic. Please comment

You don't realy wanna be a point over, alot of people hate that.
Plus you need more rats, i usualy fit 40-80 clanrats in 1000pts, and the doomwheel.

I would swap the warlord for a greyseer, the clanrats for slaves and the doomwheel and storm vermin for a HPA

That's almost half your points in two models though...

Granted, the HPA will DOMINATE at 1,000 points, but it's the sort of dominate that earns you a punch on the nose and a blacklist, rather than a handshake and a beer.

Both points are true...still...its worth doing once

I think thats a bit of a over reaction, my gmaing group allows a 5 point wiggle room, so I see lists like this all the time

I would drop the warlock engineer and take a plague priest

I would drop the Storm Vermin for Plague Monks

I would drop the doom wheel, it is fun but you have a good chance of destroying more of your army than your opponents(but again its fun which is all i care about!)

I would go with Plague Monks and a plague priest because earlier today i played my friend who had chaos warriors and my plague priest was winning challenges left and right, beat his nurgle chaos warrior champion, beat his tzeentch sorcerer on disk and beat his marauder horsemans chieftain along with about a hundred points of normal guys he killed, plus he kill 11 19 pt guys with one spell!! On top of that he didnt take a single wound thats epic, and i gave him a better talisman(i didnt have a BSB so i could afford to give him a better talisman)

And my Plague monks survived the entire game, they couldnt be killed, they kept losing(his guys had a 3+ armour and 4+ ward) and coming back to fight again(they were great!)
Field whatever you wanna field man, in most of my games we are 30 pts over or more we dont care its for fun!
