I've been playing Tau for a while now, but have decided to take a more Mechanised approach to my list, how is it?

HQ:

Shas'o Firestorm 132

Any idea on how to free up some points and improve the list in general? I like the commander the way he is and don't want to trade him for an 'el.

Downgrade all your fire-warriors to shas'la, and trade your shield generator for a shield drone on your commander.

If you buy a shield generator for him, it is a 50:50 he will die to ID weaponry - whereas if a shield drone dies, your commander is still alive.

I'd go with FKs in this list.
I would suggest you upgrade your deathrains to firestorms.

Im sticking with the FK's, and will try and downgrade to Shas'la, I want to stick with my Commander though.

What weapon systems do Firestorms have? I think my list has enough of a balance of Anti-Armour and Anti-Infantry but I guess a squad of kroot or 2 wouldn't go missed.
