Hey everyone,

I've been working on this list for a few weeks, and I'm wondering what you have to say about it. It's a mech list, but I'm running three heavy vehicles and support rather than many light vehicles, which has given me more resistance to the bog-standard array of autocannons that everyone throws at mech. On the other hand, I feel I;m running too few dudes, especially since I've had to throw my tow scoring units into combat, rather than driving to an objective than holding it.

Librarian w. Unleash Rage, Shield of Sanguinius
Chaplain
Furioso Dreadnought w. blood fists, extra armor
Drop pod
Furioso Dreadnought w. blood talons, extra armor
Drop pod
Tactical Squad: power weapon, flamer, multi-melta
Land Raider w. extra armor
Assault Squad: infernus pistol, 2 meltaguns
Land Raider Redeemer w. extra armor
10 Death Company: power weapon, 2 power fists
Empty drop pod
Storm Raven w. twin multi-meltas, twin plasma cannons, extra armor
Predator w. lascannon sponsons
Vindicator

Total: 1995 points

There are a few problems with this list, one being that I have to figure out a better way to run the Dreadnoughts, or just drop them, because I'm spending 105 pts. here to get them down-field. Second, I really want to run a big unit of Death Company, and so here it is, and I'm worried that I may be dropping too many points on them. Other than that, let me know what you think.

All the best,

Timff8

I have had a lot of success lately with running furioso's instead of dropping them in with pods. They drop and maybe pop a tank of some sort and then get melta'd to hell and back. They may take some shots while you walk them, but from armor 13 is nice and if they are shooting at them, they arent shooting at the land raiders with your troops. That would save you a few more points for something else.

You might also consider the stormraven which can transport them as well.

My only problem with this list is that there are no two of anything. A smart opponent will know what will do best against his army and focus those tanks out first, and you dont have any copypaste to counter that
