Hello, I was hoping someone could assist me with this. I play regular space marines, but I dont currently have any transports, other than a basic land raider. Should I invest in razorbacks or rhinos, or get more units like stenguard or bikes?

What is your current army list?
I still want to say cornflakes...

I wish you would've said cornflakes. Right now it's a pretty basic list since my group is only up to 1000 point games. I use 2 10 man tac squads, an assault squad w/ chaplain, 5 man scout snipers and such. But we're planning on going up to 1500 and 2000 so I wasn't sure what would be useful in higher point games. I'm pretty new to gaming so I don't have a whole lot of knowledge on the topic.

BA codex?
Getting rhinos for those tactical squads would be a good move. They are cheap and make your army a bit more competetive...
If you are playing BA well... tactical squads probably aren't the best unit you could have but hey go figure...

Rhinos are a good bet.
Librarians are also a good support HQ.

Im probably goiing to get a rhino or 2 because one of my friends is starting a quite nasty tyranid swarm army.

Well then rhinos should be shiny. Just stay inside and choose your assault marine charges carefully...
And remember that you can shoot from the top of the rhino.
