Irked Blood Angel Scout with Combat Knife






Hey hey dakkaites. Been a while. I have a 3k Lizardmen list that I'd really like some feedback on.

Lords:
Slann Mage-Priest with 4 Disiplines of the Ancients and Divine Plaque of Protection. - 455 points

Heroes:
Skink Priest on a Stegadon with the Engine of the Gods, raised to level 2, armed with the Staff of the Lost Sun - 425 points

Skink Priest raised to level 2 - 100 points

Core:
20 Saurus Warriors with a champion, musician, and standard bearer - 250 points

20 Saurus Warriors with a champion, musician, and standard bearer - 250 points

20 Saurus Warriors with spears, a champion, musician, and standard bearer - 270 points

20 Saurus Warriors with spears, a champion, musician, and standard bearer - 270 points

16 Skinks with a Brave, musician, standard bearer, and accompanied by 2 Kroxigor - 212 points

10 Skink Skirmishers with a Brave - 76 points

Special:
20 Temple Guard, one is a Revered Guardian with the Burning Blade of Chotec, one is a musician, and one is a standard bearer with the Sun Standard of Chotec - 415 points

Rare:
Ancient Stegadon - 275 points

Total - 2998 points

This army is based around the hitting power of the saurus, and the raw magical power of the Slann. Obviously the Temple Guard will be with the Great Toad, and I'm thinking of either putting the skink priest with the skink/kroxigor group, or just sorta letting him float around helping where he's needed. Feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

Shadeglass Maze

At 3k, I'm not so sure about having that many units of 20... it seems like it'd be better to have one larger "anvil" unit to sort of anchor your line.

Your list is also very static... chameleon skinks are amazing, but even just some regular blowpipe skinks could be helpful.

Some shooting... like salamanders! Would go a long way toward helping you compete against someone who doesn't want to come to you.

And just having 2 stegadons paints one Giant target on that Engine of the Gods one.

Basically, I think you could lose at least one unit of Saurus, maybe two... to address some of the above issues. The list isn't "bad", but it's just got a lot of one thing, and not much else!

As RiTides said, you need bigger block. If we where to clash my Gors would simply wear you down due to unit size. Except for that I dont have anything to comment really, I dont play Lizzardmen so I dont know what works and dont.

combine atleast two blocks of saurus, get a bsb, don't put the skink in with the kroxigor put him with a block of saurus so his unit has some clout in CC
