I'm about to order two paints from GW, and I was wondering how much shipping on something as small as that would be? I do have a local hobby shop, but they are out of stock on the two particular paints I need.

May the the blessings of His Grace the Emperor tumble down upon you like a golden fog. (Only a VERY select few will get this reference. And it's not from 40k. )

If you order them through your LGS you may be able to get them with free shipping.

For 400 dollars I got Jerry Garcia in a pouch, man!

But if I don't? I'm guessing around 3-5 bucks, about right?

Dunno about the american system but here its just something like a $15 flat rate or free if you spend more than $30, so your probably a lot better off ordering it through your LGS.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Games Workshop will be able to tell you their P&P charges.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

If you don't go with your local GS it looks like its going to be about 7 bucks.

Last time I checked shipping for a couple metal blisters to Portugal I had a heart attack.
Since you have GW in your country I think you will not have such problems.

It is so hard to put the stuff in your shopping cart and check the shipping cost directly?

GW will now be implementing a pay as you pay system on the website. The philosophy behind the system is that we heard that people like paying for our product, so you can pay for it while your paying for it!

Each item you put into your cart will automatically deduct money from your account, holding it hostage until you actually pay for the item.

There is no need for you to give us account information. Our state of the art phishing programs are fully capable of taking all sensitive data from your computer, but also funneling all money into the GW bank accounts on a small, coconut infested island inhabited by a group of shipwrecked accountants/cannibals who handle all of our currency exchanges (that's why all our exchange rates into Aussie dollars is 250% higher in markups to our product!).
