Hi. Im making my own fleet
Im calling it Hive-Fleet Minotaur, as it fits with Kraken, Leviathan and Behemoth (I was going to do behemoth, then I saw it was taken :( )
I have other topics asking for help picking my units and generally starting off, but I want to have a good background to my Hive. I also want to pick a color scheme and I was curious how you all would go about choosing one, is there anything to look out for? thanks guys

P.S. Can you have a Hive Mind as a unit? 'Cause if you can I want to make my own named Targofex. Is it a creature (in the stories) or something like grave-mind from Halo?

I'm not sure that the Hive Mind is a creature that you can field, it's more like a group collective consciousness that all Tyranids feel.

For background, you can choose the generic splinter fleet option of one the bigger fleets, or you can say that it's a new fleet coming from X direction.

The hive mind has never been seen, noone knows what it really is other than the driving force behind the tyranids. I would say that the only thing close to what you are wanting would be a norn queen. Other than one of those a hive tyrrant is a good choice since its basicly a some what sentient avatar exstension of the hivemind and when they die they just get reincarnated with all their battle exp.

Nah that would be the zerg. Which was actualy taken from warhammer 40000 along with the concept of the Marines that fight them. GW should have sued some asses
