The Hellhound was kinda fun to do, and a good excuse to break out the airbrush. This was my first attempt at the rust-and-chipped-paint effect using layers and liquid masking. Didn't turn out too shabby, but there's not enough contrast between the exposed areas and the painted surface. Plus, I forgot to varnish after the "rust layer," so a fair amount of the masking didn't rub off! The weapons are all magnetized so you can use any loadout you want, but in my haste I failed to notice that the turret weapons would've been better off if I'd left them the way they were cast!

I'll be honest, I didn't like this mini. I bought her off the CMON store a few years ago, and finally got around to painting her. While some aspects of the sculpt are good (I liked painting her cloak and boots,) she's too scrawny (gluing on her arms was NOT fun,) and all the straps and belts are just plain silly. I didn't care for her face, either. The base is just epoxy putty shaped with a dental pick. Not my best work, but not my worst, either.

Loving the Hellhound, but are you going to pick out the winged skull and aquila? Great assassin too. Feel your pain on the glueing of small appendages - they make my fingers feel the size of soccer balls.
