Bloodthirsty, hated, angry donkey-caves. simply not enough of them to take on the entire imperium directly.

slow, indestructible, death. there is almost no way of stoping them and they are en masse however not yet in numbers YET...

Tyranids

untold number, mysterious, without end. like orks but scary and organised they consume and consume untill all is lost they are indeed the biggest threat the entire galaxy has every faced.

Unsure if this is a question thread, or if you simply are giving us some sort of list. If the second is true, then you haven't really given us a way to stop any of these threats.

And the biggest threat to all life...I believe the beasts of the warp, chaos daemons, would be the biggest threat to ALL life. All these choices you've given us are part of the combined life in the galaxy, so only an other planar threat could really be the biggest threat. Even chaos space marines would be preserving their own lives.

I think Nids and Necrons are both equal threats, more and more tomb worlds are being found and iirc Necrons number in the billions and when they 'die' they go back to a tombworld to be repaired.

Now with that said I have to say Nids are nigh unstoppable right now until the Hive Mind gets within striking range, Aside from that the only way I can think of to destroying necrons is destroying the tomb worlds wholesale if that is at all possible.

The necrons and chaos daemons are the biggest threat, the orks kill each other more than anything else, the eldar/dark eldar dont have enough numbers, tau are lame, and all you need for the Nids is a big can of bug spray.....

Handling Nurgle can't be too hard, spray them with Clorox. So there goes 1/4 of chaos.

Tyranids and orks are unemerable, chaos is immortal and necrons are unstoppable, each are very dangerous in their own way.

The Imperium isn't uncaring about all life, just all Sapient Xeno species.


The Imperium only exterminates worlds if there is really no other option. and even then, they have Terraforming tech to rebuild those worlds.


The Imperium's goal is for Humanities survival, and in this hostile galaxy that requires the extermination of all Xeno species.

the dark eldar do pose a threat of spreading space std's ... intergalactic crotch rot seems like a threat to me

but yea evry faction poses some threat in thier own way, even the waning eldar could have a farseer find somethign and a point to attack to cause devistation to something. if there were a truely useless group they wouldn't have a codex
