Lets say my rune priest is parked all snug and secure in my deployment zone, comfortably sipping hot cocoa to fight off the blistering fenrisian cold. suddenly the chooser of the slain perched high attop a three storey piece of terrain spots a squad of Nids trying to creep through the freshly fallen snow clear across the table. Although my priest has no line of sight on them, several pieces of terrain obstructing the view, could living lightening be used to shoot them using the choosers line of sight?

And the answer is: No, because that's not what the Chooser of the Slain does according to the codex. It's on page 36, have you read it?
