Poor pyrovore, it doesnt seem like anyone likes them. Does anyone own or use a pyrovore? Because i have never seen anyone buying or owning one.

What is the difference between option 1; Yes [I own a pyrovore] and option 2; Yes, I own [a pyrovore]?

I know somebody who tried it once. It died in single combat to a lone bloodletter. It was funny

I own two.
But only because I like the model, and think the normal biovore model is awful.

I don't play tyranids but would someone explain what a pyrovore does and what makes it so bad? Just curious, I've never seen anyone use one.

I think it is basically a expensive heavy flamer that has trouble getting within template range.

It is suppost to be a close quarters monster, but have only 1 strength 3 attack at I1. Also, as ben sime once said, "anyone who uses pyrovores abviously hasent read the section on hive gaurd" which it true, they take up your elite slots which zoan's or hive gaurd would be a better option. The model also looks...bad.

I think the model looks better than the Biovore, but I agree with 'Ben Sime' on this one

Do you think if the Pyrovore was a monsterous creature, it would be better? Say bump up its points to like 55, and give it str 6, and 2 wounds?

Pyrovore already has two wounds. Even as a Monstrous creature it would be subject to Instant Death. It's still taking up an Elite slot you need for something else.

While MCs are always good, I don't think a Monstrous Pyrovore would be preferable to Hive Guards or Zoanthropes.
