I saw this at Micro-Mark and was curious about it. I wouldn't buy it at $9.95 but at $2.95 I'm tempted.

Go to IKEA and buy one of there milk frothers. take off the wisk bit, and you have a 1.19p paint mixer.

Thats cool, but I've got a personal rule about electronics:

If it costs under $5, it will work twice (poorly) and then die.
How do you get the massive glob of paint off the end once it's mixed? Free spin it all over the place? Waste the paint?


Makes me wonder about making a dremel attachment though.

If you lift the mixer above the surface of the paint, then spin it while still in the bottle you'll be fine. A dremel attachment would work, but it can't be spun too fast I would think!

Or, just put a few BBs in there and shake!

I actually bought this a little while ago (For home cooking) just on a random shopping trip, it fell apart in about 20 seconds.
