As many of you know, Castellan Crowe is the bearer of the Black Blade of Antwyr. This indestructible blade is the most powerful weapon in the universe. Too bad in 90% of the battles I've used him, Crowe dies. Thus far the Black Blade:
1. Fell into the hands of a lucky squad of gretchin.
2. Was captured by Abaddon (can you F@#$^@ imagine what he'll do with it?!).
3. Was picked up by some Imperial Guard storm troopers as a curio.
4. and so on....

The implications for the human race are not good. As the God-Emperor sits in his depends getting weaker and weaker we can only cross our fingers and hope that we die before our doom is manifest...

For? I mean, the blade is just passed down to another incorruptible Purifier after the previous wielder dies.

Not in the games I've played! (see above).

Says who?

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

But Grey Knights allways win! Or they get it back by fighting, or Exterminatus the planet and get it back after that!

The whole 'Exterminus it' idea seems to invalidate the use of ground forces I've always thought.

And I think that when the planet is a post apocalyptic, it's going to be really hard to find the damn sword.

This is by far the scariest scenario.

Even with that sword he'd still screw up pretty quickly , however Gretchin and Guard may actually do something smart with it.

I don't know if you're trolling or what, but your games aren't cannon and have no effect of the game universe. Crowe still has the blade. When he dies, it'll be passed on to someone else if they recover it.

Abbaddon would just hurt himself and the GKs would capture the blade again.

the Stormtroopers would be currupted by its power and the GKs would show back up to take it back.

its the Grots you would worry about. orks can loot ANYTHING!!!

None, of course.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

The lack of humor displayed by the participants of this thread saddens me greatly.

I agree. There must be more humor!

I shall rule the world someday utilizing my cuteness. And I already have one minion to help me do it!

Confused

I'm guessing you listed these events in reverse order? The storm troopers were so fiercely loyal they gave it back to a barely-alive Crowe, but then Abaddon got it but accidently stabbed himself and then Crowe got it back only to have it stolen by gretchins? The universe is screwed.

I can see a grot with the Not-At-ALL-Stolen-IP blade cleaving through marines, left and right, then putting it down to have a breather and being eaten unawares by a squig, leaving the blade slowly sinking into the drops...
