Last episode, the Blood Angels were 'resisting arrest' by a meglo-maniac Imperial commissar
who had beguiled a unit of Grey Knights to assist. On the left, the Death Company made a heroic
charge, wiping out Commissar Andrewski's bodyguard and severely wounding him. In the center,
Blood Angel armor formed line to silence the hostile guns.
The Imperial armor prepares their fire scheme
Chaplin Rhesus directs the line forward. Marines from a disabled Razorback move up with a Predator and Brother Jermaine's Dreadnaught.
Astorath calls in the Sanguinary Guard to drop in and break the Grey Knights holding the left center.
The Imperials react, sending Chimera "Heed the Voice" with it's cargo of Guard to blunt the threat
Their armor kept up a steady drumbeat of effective shelling.
Blood Angels in cover faired better than their brothers moving forward
Meanwhile, the Death Company suddenly faced charging Space Wolfs of Von Bryan's
Riders of the Purple Razorback - unexpected Imperial reinforcements.
Alas, facing a second Dread and the blazing barrels of a Razorback's assault cannon (off camera to the right), the
Death Company and Astorath were
hor's
de combat.
As the Purple Razorback concentrate their fire on the Blood Angel line, the Sanguinary guard
is whittled down to a single warrior by the vicious
IG firepower.
The golden warrior moves on the Grey Knights as infantry charges forward.
The Imperial - Grey Knight center is strong. Librarian Michaelo calls in orbital fire support which takes a toll
The Blood Predator is wrecked - Librarian Jermaine searches for survivors...
A lone Baal Predator gives as good as he gets, but ends up 'dis-armed', as is the Grey Knight Dread.
The overwhelming numbers proved too much for the Blood Angels. Here in the last pic
received from the campod before it was dis-abled, we can see the gallant last stand by the Sons of Sanguinious.
