I'm having issues. I love the models but I can't seem to get these guys to do what I want them to do. i.e. Carving the flesh from the bones of the Eldar before they're shot to pieces.

usual list

Bloodthirster

20 x Bloodletters, herald
10 x Horrors
10 x Horrors
20 x Plaguebearers

20 x Hounds, Carnak

3 x Bloodcrushers, herald

Daemon Prince

So I was wondering how other Daemon players use theirs.

where are you from? Finland? Country between sweden and Russia? Never heard.

Most popular way is to play so called "fatecrusher"
It usually has fateweaver and 1 or 2 units of bloodcrushers with everything for wound allocation.
This can be powerful tactic if used right. (Im still having hard time to keep fateweaver close to my crushers)
Hope this helps

Units of 4 with each of the upgrades. Each of the models has different wargear so you can do wound shenanigans.

Shameless link to my painting blog :

Have more than 1 unit, each of which should be 4 models with different upgrades. If they keep geeting shot up then why not screen them with Plaguebearers? Divide them into 2x10, then DS them so they provide cover for the crushers; PB's will take MASSIVE amounts of punishment...

Blood crushers are slow and ponderous compared to most things in the daemon book, in addition you are running nothing really fast other than the blood thirster and hounds, as a result, you won't be beating a smart eldar player anytime soon. His list is pretty much a hard counter to armies that mostly move as infantry and only have 2-3 units with ranged (limited) ability.

I agree that, if your main opponant is Eldar, Crushers will struggle;for that, Fiends and/or Seekers would be much better. Your list has some massive units. I would suggest splitting them up, and reducing them slightly....:

15 Bloodletters (fine, they need to be a big squad to survive shooting..might end up a bullet magnet though)

3x5 Horrors (all with Bolt, one with Changling)

2x10 Plaguebearers (will hold objectives all day long..can probably be cut to 2x7..)

3 'crushers isn't going to do you any good at all. Get 1 more, and turn your mounted Herald into Skulltaker. That would be rock hard-but slow. Try Proxying them as Fiends and see what you think..

If you want to keep the hounds, fine-they're not bad at all, but 2x8-10 is better than a massive unit.

Thanks dudes. Played them last night. Instead of a squad I ended up using them as heralds for small units of bloodletters, and took 2 Deamon Princes. Seemed to work.
I definitely will be getting some more tho. I love the models.
Run units of 5 or more behind pus filled meatscreens! Cheers
