After repeated alerts over the last several weeks regarding unusual turbulence in the Warp in the Phly Gamma sector, it has been confirmed that Chaos forces ruled by Mega-Dave the Terrible have been detected on Phly Gamma V. There is no doubt they will set out to reek havoc on any they can find. Territorial Central Command dispatched a reconnaisance in force of Dark Angels to assess the threat. The main body prepares to meet the Chaos armor - The Ancients moving up the left with their Plasma Guns and Dread Shootamous moving to riddle a Chaos Deamon.


Shootamous disables a Rhino that spews out possessed marines intent on stealing the statue of the Space Wolf Maiden. The Ancients line up another volley on the Purple People Eater (yes, it exists), having already winged it.


Crazed Dreadnaughts pour withering fire into Devastator Squad Alpha, and themselves. Seems the Dread back left had issues with his battle brother, and put a couple of rockets up his back. The lone surviving Devastator sergeant steps forward with his Power Fist. Swing and a miss and he's outta there.


Suddenly, things look thin for the Dark Angels. In the distance, you can see a relief force of Commander Michael's Blue Devil Marines being intercepted by Eldar .


The Blue Devils wheel their venerable Land Raider to meet the threat, stalling their move to blast the Chaos left rear.


The Ravenwing Speeder makes a last ditch run at the Purple People Eater which has lashed the Ancients into the Infirmary.


At this point, radio contact with the Dark Angels was lost.
