Well, I have question about environment of the games you play, like does your local game store that you play at have a lot of people playing a lot of games, or are there just the regulars, which do you prefer?

Honestly, I prefer "home games" over playing in stores.
A few friends, some food and drink in a pleasent surrounding...that's my prefered gaming setting.

For the last few years I have almost exclusively played only at tourneys except for a few times at a friend's place and a couple at a FLGS that is not so local.
I'm moving to a large regional town next month and will be playing a lot at the FLGS in the center of town (Mordheim campaign FTW!!!)
By the end of the year I hope to have a board to go over our patio table, a few hills and building to g with my current 4 forests (battlefield in a box is brilliant) then I'll be doing gaming at my place.

Well, I play at a local store, but, as a foreigner, I often had trouble understanding english for a while.

I haven't played in a store in 15 or so years.
Most of my games are "club" games. The clubs all hire a venue for their meetings. They tend to have a more laid back attitude to store 'clubs'.

The only playing I've done has been in a store. Soon I hope to branch out to playing games at other places like people's homes. In fact if I can figure things out I might set up a table in my garage.

I have only played home games due to just starting out. I have been to my flgs and watched some games and i must say i like it there better because of having someone to help with rules questions. As for the question from what i have seen there a bunch of regulars with the occasional new guy.

Personally I prefer the 'regulars' from the club up on the coast. Stores generally have some pretty nice terrain though.
BTW, I thought this thread was going be about the toilet and drugs and fans. Disappoint.

This times a bagillion. We will set up and get ready, grill some food, play, have some drinks, its friggin awesome. Ive played a few times at game stores and such, and people just seem so damn tense, no sense of humor and no matter how many times I give the opposing player a "oh hey its close enough go for it" I never get anything in return.

The majority of my play time is done at home. I have a room dedicated to it. Otherwise, I'll occasionally go up to the store to play with the kids, but 'adult swim' time is hard to pass up.
