No battle reports here! Just want to give everyone a feel of what happen this weekend.

Quick overview of what I thought. I always heard that opinions are like you know what and most of them stink. So take that in mind when you read this because its just my opinion.

Endless gaming first THANKS for holding a GT in NC! The store was clean and squared away. Endless gaming is located in a mall type store so there were many places to go while waiting between rounds. Awesome food place right down the hall they gave us discounts for being there at endless gaming. My favorite was the Ben and jerry's icream shop. I am love food so I think its important when a gamer goes to an event that the store at least setups a plan for lunch. Great job EG.

The players ROCKED! I talked with many of the players. Lots of the players traveled from FL and DC to come and play. Lots of laughs and great sportsmanship throughout. Lots of cool conversion armies (star wars theme). Lots of painted armies and not just three colors lots of players taking the time and preparing the armies.

Overall I think with the players and endless gaming this GT was a lot of fun. Great tournament and great gaming experience. I was able to meet some cool gamers and hopefully we will meet on the battlefield again.

Remember this is just my opinion and if you don't like it....its cool man.

@Warshepard

It was nice talking to you this past weekend. We never got to play eachother but you did very well.

I talked to many great players and had 5 quality games. Got to meet some WC members old and new, and had great time after the tournament hanging out at the store or getting chinese food next door.

I also got to meet a few people here on dakka like crazybeanz with his hard hitting GK army. Then Sarigar who despite character assassination, is a great guy; very easy to talking and ended up winning favorite opponent at the event.

I would gladly go back to this event.

Comparing tournament records is another form of e-peen measuring.

Great event; just been trying to catch up with work till tonight.

Mike runs a quality event and I was really happy I had the opportunity to attend. Wish I would have had time to playtest the army beforehand, but between painting, work and family, just couldn't find time.

Thanks Hod. It's always best to meet a person to make one's own decisions about someone. I'll definitely look you guys up when I'm down in Orlando.

Now, I just gotta paint those 200 gems on all my Eldar vehicles.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Sarigar you are not suppose to paint them but replace them with real gems. I thought we had this conversation already. It was cool to see you bring your eldar though.
