Hi guys

I know there has been a great deal of coverage on the blisters and the so-so quality of the finecasts there but while perusing the GW site I noticed they have a Finecast set of Sternguard vets. I've always wanted to get those models but being metal was a deal breaker for me. The idea of these models in resin is very appealing (the price, not so much) but does anyone have experience with the sets like the Sterngaurd or the Calgar models. How are they overall or is the quality hit or miss as it is with the blister packs? If someone has pics that would be even better.

Thanks

I'll tell you a secret, something they don't teach you in your temples. The gods envy us. They envy us because we are mortal, because every moment may be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed. You will never be lovlier than you are now and we will never be here again.

I've heard bad stories about the Sternguard. If you can, buy them in a store so you can check them on the spot.

Basically, yes, the quality is hit and miss.

Basically anything with the blister's applies to the boxes also as it's not a packaging problem it's a quality control problem.
