Hi everyone. So, I'm currently interested in getting into Warhammer Fantasy, but not too sure where to start. I know of 2 stores in San Diego, Game Empire and Game Towne. I've heard Empire is basically the central hub in SD, is that true to some extent? Are there any other stores in SD?


Also - Any advice on where to go for people like me, who have trouble meeting and talking to unfamiliar people in person? ( It's nerve racking for me ).

I would say that Game Empire is your best bet. It has been over a year since I've been there, mind you (had to move when I got my next assignment), but I seem to remember that Mondays were big WHFB nights. You might want to go to their site and check to see if their calendar has been updated.

As far as meeting new people, you might consider joining the GE forums, so that you can meet people online first and set up games that way. Hopefully this will serve as an "ice breaker," since you will be going to the store to play a specific game with a specific person.
