Hi All

Here is the situation my dads a nid player he's going to use a Drop pod (Mycetic Spore) my question is:

If the pod comes down outside of Synapse does a Carnafex have to take a Ld test to see if he suffers from Rage, I don't think he would as it would effectively allow him to move after Deep Strike but nothing says it couldn't.

I have checked the book and I have searched the web but haven't come up with anything, Ideas...

i could have sworn monstrous creatures didn't have to test for IB. maybe that was an older codex?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

No, there was nothing like that in 4th edition either.
ASAIK, carnifexes had to be in synapse range last edition of the codex as well.

They had to test for instinctive behaviour, like everything else, but they would never fall back, since they were fearless.

This was solved with the new rules, since instinctive behaviour works different now.

I must rule with eye and claw — as the hawk among lesser birds.
