Designed to be light enough to be carried by cargo nets underneath Valkyries, the Leman Russ Sabre mounts an armour-destroying Vanquisher Cannon and a hull-mounted Heavy Bolter, for dealing with the largest, most dangerous armoured threats the Drop Troops face. Eventually I'll be rigging up a Vietnam War-esque Valkyrie using Warmill's upcoming Valk conversion kit, so this beast can ride into battle in style!

Enjoy!

I think adding some small rivets, similar to those on the Leman Russ kits would add much needed depth to this conversion. Also maybe segregating the armor more, so it looks like its paneled instead of one continuous sheet of metal.

Good looking tank. I think it fits the Elysian's quite well.

As for the overall look. I agree that it could use some rivets. as said by Shooms, I think if you made some armor plates to put on it would make the tank look a lot more realistic.

It's a good start though I think it should be a little more Busy if you will. As in I think it needs some more random items. For example an antenna, possible some tow hooks, more just random bitz to make the tank look more used.
Since Elysian's are trained to fight without ressupply I think throwing some packs or other equipment the foot soldiers would need would also make it look nicer.

What materials did you use to construct the tank?

As I said nice start! Though I reccomend some refinement of the overall look will have the end result of a more pleasing and cool looking model!

Cheers

SO we need to get rid of the "You know you should be painting" Headliner... every time i see it i think of the collection of models sitting unpainted

Necron Tomb somewhere in Scandinavia.

Again, simple but effective! Still, what shooms and fire cancer have said, it needs to look more realistic. Look at original leman russ and its plating, make same kind of armour to yours!

Alright I think I've found a good way to do rivets, so those will be forthcoming hopefully.

I made the tank out of plasticard and spare bitz, although I purchased the turret and the treads from bitz sites.

Thanks everyone!
