My normal IG force is 6 squads of carapace vets (3 with 3x plasma/autocannon, 2 w/3x melta, 1 with heavy flamer 2xflamer) 2 vendettas, 1 valkyries and then chimeras and hydras to taste.

And Rambo.

But I'm not finding Rambo that useful and think one of the other Sarges might help out more, or at least not give up a kill point.

I could add Harker, he'd give one of the squads infiltrate and add a HB to them. 3 more S5 shots and infiltrating plasma autocannons can't be bad. Or I could build him a new squad, maybe with 3 grenade launchers so they can move and fire.

Bastonne would fly with a melta squad to give them a bring it down order and keep them in the fight.

Anyone found the other 2 sqts useful at all?

I've never found Bastonne to be worth it.

I like Harker, Infiltrating him witha squad neear the enemey's front line is great, but it often means theat the entire squad is going to be toasted in short order.

I've always wanted to put Harker in a squad with three grenade launchers, and a heavy bolter. Then put that squad in a chimera with a heavy bolter and a Primus Psyker. Just to have a ludicrous amount of strength 5-6 shooting.

I like it... Especially for games where infiltrating is not beneficial.

Harker is fantastic. That HB really does contribute. I have no idea about bastionne

Ive had some luck with Harker, infiltrating him is great, don't do it with meltas unless there's lots of armor, or you can spring them quick.

SO looks like infiltrating Harker it is. Should I go with the 3xplasma and autocannon squad or tinker with it a bit?
