finished my israeli defense force troops ! for force on force as well as a Merkava 1 tank . so i can do some 1982 invasion of lebanon missions . its all 1/72 ( 20 mm ) plastics . i got a box of 58 infantry figs for $ 12.00 and the tank kit was $ 14.00 on ebay . theyll fit in good with my other stuff .

useing them for force on force by osprey publishing/ambush alley games ..game . i'll post pics from my first battle with them . i became interested with the period after wacthing the animated waltz with bashir movie . also i want to check out the movie lebanon . which is also about the 1982 invasion . the movie takes place inside a merkava tank . the movie claims to be the das boot of tank movies . interesting conflict tanks getting pushed into real dense urban conflicts .

Which is the environment the Merkava was designed to accel in . All in all a really well designed tank for the roles it needs to play. Solid support, but also transport capability to help maintain the best aspect of the israeli army, its soldiers.
