Who here remembers this good game, it was the first one I have ever installed on my computer.

And my theory is that Matt Ward saw Doomguy and said: "Yeah, that's Draigo all right."

That was a really good game. My brother used to come over and we would play 2 player on it.

Damn....they just don't make 'em like that anymore.

Along with Quake 3/4, it was an extremely good game.

Me and a friend found a mod that allows up to 4 player coop on PC, it was so damn fun running through with the chainsaw and tag teaming that big demon in hell.

Those were most surely the glory days.

I played through Doom 3 way too many times, I thought it was great.

That game was glorious, scared me senseless the first time I played it true thou. But still fond memories

I liked them all, but probably spent the most time on the first.

I wish it was more like the Alpha (back when Trent Reznor was still on the team). It was considerably darker, and much more of a mindfeth. The aspects they changed all managed to make the game worse.

Why worse? I really liked user interface in Doom 3. And PDA's are also nice tough. Graphic is excellent even by today's standard.

The only thing I didn't like is the flashlight, the seriously need to add duck tape in the next game...

This game was so great, that mod that allowed coop play on the PC made for some really fun nights with my roommates. I bought a PC so I could play it, and I'm probably going to do the same thing when Doom 4 comes out.

Am I the only person who doesn't want the duct tape problem solved? Part of the terror of that game was choosing firepower or visibility.

Also, Doom 4 is coming, was announced during an Interview on Rage. No footage yet though.

The song on the opening titles is a good knockoff of the opening riff on 'Lateralus'. Pretty rocking.

Personally never played it but i think it paved the way for sci fi horror shooters like dead space.

DOOM 3 was alright... No where near as much fun as 1 or 2 though.

Barrels o' fun is still my favorite level of all time.

I hope I dont blow any minds, but there is a Q1 based engine that people have imported doom1 into called ZdoomGL, so you can play the original doom 1-2 in full 3d with mouselook and 3d weapons/monsters/lighting.

its not the prettiest, but it beats playing at 320X200 for me.

BTW download alien vendetta WAD, it's very good
